There are a few things to keep in mind when you use the hot water dispenser.
- First of all, some models have an 'on' button, but not an 'off' button. Why this is, I have no idea, but you would be wise to add the water before you plug it in and turn it on. Otherwise, when the cold water hits the hot interior you will get splattering which could lead to burns.
- Always empty it and let it air dry. You may not use all the water that is heated, but you don't want it to sit inside the machine. The interior is metal, so if you have water sitting for a few hours or days inside you could get some rusting or at the very least mildew growing.
- Read all the instructions. Even though this seems like a simple to operate machine, it is always wise to read the instructions through completely. You never know when their is a little operating quirk that could make life simpler!
